The Downstate Chapters

The Downstate Region of the New York State Young Democrats is comprised of the 5 counties forming New York City (the 5 boroughs) and the two on Long Island. Currently there are only chapters in three of the five boroughs and one county on long island. A important purpose of the Keep the Change fundraiser is to put a chapter in every county by providing funding for start-up events and cooperative programs with established chapters to help raiser awareness and kickstart membership by holding prominent events.
